“Three chords, the truth, and a guitar solo”

That’s Nick Ball - The shaggy rock and roller from nowhere Maryland. Known for his lyricism and unfiltered personality, the singer-songwriter moved down to Nashville as soon as he turned 18, and hasn’t looked back.

“I wanted to learn the craft of songwriting - what makes a good song GOOD - I wanted to be able to do that.”

Mixing Rock and Roll with elements of country, folk, and blues - Nick isn’t trying to chase that one hit-song, he’s trying to make something that lasts even if he has to rip the music apart lyric-by-lyric.

“I often joke that I’m Nashville’s only songwriter. I know I’m not of course, but I do try to be the best one I can be. I can’t write like anyone else - and I’m going to make damn sure they can’t write like me…”

When not working on his next song Nick can be found playing around Nashville with his band “The Chain.”
